About Us
Moors, Andrew McClusky & Co. was established in April 2004 and moved to its existing premises in December 2004.
The practice commenced when Andrew McClusky left Moors Andrew Thomas & Co LLP. At this time Moors Andrew McClusky & Co. acquired the practice of Johnson Barton & Co. from the then proprietor Ken Larkum. Johnson Barton was a long established Manchester practice with a sizeable client base.
In July 2005 we then acquired the sole practice of Peter Maddock, a local Warrington practitioner who wished to retire. Peter stayed with us for a year whilst we got acquainted with his clients.
Steve Hoffman joined the practice as a consultant in January 2006. He was previously a partner for 25 years in a Manchester city centre firm and specialised in business recovery and insolvency. All his accountancy clients moved with him to Warrington.
Amanda Fairclough joined the practice in January 2009 as a partner having merged her sole practice, based in Liverpool, into Moors Andrew McClusky & Co.
Moors Andrew McClusky & Co. consists of two partners, Andrew McClusky and Amanda Fairclough; two consultants, Stephen Hoffman and Edward Cobb; and 13 members of staff.
This company is a registered auditor and provides audit, accountancy and taxation services predominantly to commercial owner managed clients and high net worth individuals.
